Third Annual Hop Sauce Festival Forecast
Weather NJ is both honored and proud to provide a special event forecast for the third annual Hop Sauce Festival. The event is this Saturday, June 4 from 11AM to 7PM on the ball field in Beach Haven, NJ (Long Beach Island) between 9th Street and Taylor Avenue. Curated by the cutting edge and community-minded apparel brand, Jetty, Hop Sauce Fest 2016 promises to deliver a stepped up array of craft beers, exciting hot sauces, amazing local fare and a new lineup of original music.
The idea of the gathering is to pair local fare with regional hot sauce, and wash it down with a sampling of twenty delicious craft beers. Spice It Up, located in Bay Village, offers gourmet ingredients including many hot sauces & spiced products. Shore Point Distributing Company offers a world-class line of micro, craft, domestic & imported beer products to much of New Jersey. And Jetty is the locally-based lifestyle apparel company that has made a place for itself in the surf and skate industries over the last 13 years, encouraging everyone to Draw Your Own Line.
A portion of the proceeds from Hop Sauce benefit the Jetty Rock Foundation, a non-profit arm of the locally based lifestyle brand Jetty, dedicated to improving our community through a variety of initiatives. In 2014, Jetty Rock was able to create a new Jetty Tech Lab in each of the Long Beach Island Elementary Schools with 50 new iPads as well as Chromebook laptops for Beach Haven Elementary. In 2015, they not only donated $25,000 to Southern Regional’s High School, but also teamed up with the Business Department to give students a year-long branding project.
The relationships between Jetty Rock, Spice it Up, Shore Point, and Jetty’s other valued partners, coupled with intense planning and marketing of Hop Sauce, are also sure to benefit the Borough of Beach Haven as well as the entire tourist-centric region of Southern Ocean County on a historically slow weekend. Hop Sauce Weather Forecast:
Hop Sauce will happen rain or shine. Regardless, Saturday looks like the best day of the weekend to head out and have a good time! Afternoon high temperatures should climb to about 73-75 degrees. Skies should be partly sunny. While an isolated brief sprinkle cannot be ruled out, most of the day looks pleasant and comfortable for an outdoor event in Beach Haven. Winds should be 5-10mph out of the S/SE. Temperatures should be just starting to fall into the upper-60s when Hop Sauce concludes at 7PM. Everyone have an excellent day at the event and hope to see you there. Be safe! JC
