Event Details:

Date: Saturday May 16, 2015
Check-in: 9:00 AM
Start Time: 10:00 AM
Start Location: The Sawmill (S. end of Boardwalk)
Distance: 5K

Event Forecast:

For the Seaside area, Saturday should start out in the 60s during early AM hours but quickly climb into the mid-to-upper 70s for the walk (once the sun is up). Expect a 10-15mph S/SW breeze with gusts to 20mph. While interior regions of New Jersey will likely reach well into the 80s, coastal regions should be kept slightly cooler—mainly due to the ocean surface temperature profile that exists this time of year. Expect a mixed-bag of “some sun” and overcast skies through most of the walk with just a small chance of a sprinkle. Afternoon/evening rain showers are possible but well-after the event concludes.  Regardless, it should be mostly dry and mild for the walk.

Have a great time on the new Seaside Boardwalk. I was just there and it looks great!
Also thank you for taking mental illness, an issue very close to my heart, seriously! As always, please b
e safe! JC
