Friday (July 1) high temperatures should level off around 80. Mid-80s are possible for interior CNJ/SNJ and the coast could be held to the upper-70s. Skies should start off partly sunny but showers and thunderstorms are possible during afternoon-evening hours. Winds should be light out of the S. Overnight lows should range from upper-50s in NNJ elevations to about 70 along the SNJ coast.

Saturday (July 2) high temperatures should reach the lower-80s away from the ocean and mid-to-upper 70s along the coast. Skies should be mostly sunny with a pleasant feel. Winds should be light/breezy out of the W/NW. Overnight lows should fall into the 50s for NNJ elevations and 60s for the rest of New Jersey.

Sunday (July 3) high temperatures should reach the mid-80s away from the ocean and mid-to-upper 70s along the coast. Skies should be mostly sunny with possibly some humidity. Winds should be light/breezy out of the W/SW. Overnight lows should fall into the 50s for NNJ elevations and 60s for the rest of New Jersey.

Monday (July 4) high temperatures should reach the mid-to-upper 80s away from the ocean and mid-to-upper 70s along the coast. Skies should be mostly sunny with a bit of humidity. Isolated pop-up showers and thunderstorms are possible on any given summer day like this. Not expected but always worth a mention as they are usually very localized. Otherwise, evening firework shows should be fine. Winds should be light out of the S. Overnight lows should fall into the 60s statewide.
