Nice Weekend Expected (April 11-12)

Some remnant clouds are leftover from yesterday’s frontal passage but for the most part, the rest of the weekend looks very nice with high pressure in control. Let break it down:

Saturday should range from upper-50s in NWNJ to lower-60s along the shore for high temperatures. Expect a mixed bag of sun and clouds to eventually give way to clearer skies. Coastal/SENJ should be the last to clear. Winds should be 10-15mph out of the NW with gusts to 25mph. Overnight lows should then drop into the 30s statewide making for a chilly Saturday night.

Sunday looks like the best day of the weekend with high temperatures reaching well into the 60s and possibly breaking 70. Skies should be mostly sunny with light westerly winds. Overnight lows should then fall into the low-to-mid 40s.

An early look at next week indicates sustained spring warmth in the 60s and 70s with a few routine spring showers mid-week.
