Mild Weekend Expected (Mar 11-13)

Light rain is possible overnight but most should fall and clear by 8AM tomorrow, if not earlier. The weekend then starts dry and beautiful but slowly fades towards mild and possibly rainy by the end. Let’s break it down.

Friday (Mar 11) high temperatures should reach into the 60s statewide. Skies could start out cloudy after lingering overnight showers but should eventually give way to sunny skies. Winds should be breezy out of the NW. Overnight lows should fall into the 30s for most of New Jersey (maybe lower 40s along the coast) with generally dry skies.

Saturday (Mar 12) high temperatures should reach into the 60s away from the ocean. Coastal regions could be held in the 50s. Skies should mostly feature a mixed bag of sun and clouds but with isolated rain showers possible. It’s that time of year! Winds should be light out of the S/SW. Overnight lows should fall into the 40s statewide.

Sunday (Mar 13) high temperatures should reach into the 60s statewide. Skies should be partly-to-mostly cloudy with more rain possible. There’s a chance we luck out with drier skies but I would prepare for the possible rain to play it safe. Winds should be light out of the E/NE. Overnight lows should fall into the upper-40s/lower-50s. Conditions should remain/become wet into Monday.

WeatherTrends360 QuickCast Dashboard

An early look at next week indicates continued mild temperatures (highs in the 60s statewide). The week should start wet but improve by midweek. We’re getting to that point where isolated rain showers are possible at any time but still sandwiched between periods of sunny and dry beautiful weather. Have a great weekend and be safe! JC
