Weekend Looks Beautiful! (Sept 18-20)

There’s not much to say. The sunny weather continues with a dry frontal passage on Sunday, only making it more pleasant feeling. Let’s break it down.

Friday high temperatures should reach the mid-80s inland and maybe just 80 along the coast. Urban/I-95 areas could flirt with 90. Skies should be mostly sunny. Winds should be light out of the south with slight humidity. Overnight lows should fall into the 50s (NNJ Elevations) and 60s (rest of New Jersey).

Saturday high temperatures should reach the low-80s inland and upper-70s along the coast. Skies should be mostly sunny. Winds should be light out of the south. Overnight lows should fall into the 50s (NNJ Elevations) and 60s (rest of New Jersey).

Sunday high temperatures should fail to escape the 70s. Skies should be mostly sunny with a few clouds here and there. Winds should be stiff out of the N/NE once the front passes through. Overnight lows should fall into the 40s (NNJ Elevations) and range from 50-60 (inland to the coast).

An early look at next week indicates more stiff onshore flow to start with clouds and possibly light rain. There’s a lot of uncertainty in the models regarding a possible coastal low pressure system that wants to form off the SE US coast and track northward. High pressure could block it from reaching us or it could let it just north enough to bring rain. Those are the possibilities for now and I’ll be tracking it over the weekend.
