More Stellar Fall Conditions

Discussion: A lot of ridging expected this week, sending more W/NW flow aloft over our area. Not seeing any systems or major drivers to change this pattern until likely after this weekend. Every day looks great for outdoor interests. We will see a spike in temps on Friday (highs in the 70s). But the rest of the week and this weekend looks more like highs in the 60s. There’s not much else to say. But it’s hard to believe how close we are to the start of snow tracking season. I’d say batting practice for the winter baseball game starts Nov 1. Fair game for an early event any time after that, especially for NWNJ elevations.

Forecast

Tuesday (Oct 27) high temperatures should reach the low-to-mid 60s. Cooler than last few days for the high point. Skies should be clear and mostly sunny. Winds should be light out of the N/NE. Overnight lows should range from 30-45 NNJ to SNJ.

Wednesday (Oct 28) high temperatures should reach the low-to-mid 60s. Skies should be mixed with sun and clouds. Winds should be light out of the SE. Overnight lows should range from 40-50 NNJ to SNJ.

Thursday (Oct 29) high temperatures should reach the mid-to-upper 60s. Skies should be mostly sunny. Winds should be light out of the SW. Overnight lows should range from lower-40s to lower-50s NNJ to SNJ.

Friday (Oct 30) high temperatures should reach the low-to-mid 70s. Skies should be mostly sunny with a pleasant feel. Winds should be light out of the W/NW. Overnight lows should range from 40-50 NNJ to SNJ.

An early look at the weekend (Oct 31-Nov 1) indicates more of the same. A little cooler than Friday though. Highs in the 60s lows in the 40s and dry. Can’t ask for better trick-or-treating weather for those who partake. But we’re continuing to fall a little behind on water tables again. Have a great week and please be safe! JC
