Immaculate Fall Conditions
Discussion: A rather simple forecast for the next week or so. Ridging over Great Lakes steering W/NW upper flow into NJ. High pressure in control for the surface and lower levels. This should create immaculate fall conditions with clear skies and seasonably fall feelz. Not much rain showing for the rest of October. October wasn’t as wet as prior months so we’re actually an inch or two below average for Oct precipitation. Enjoy the outdoor fall activities, whatever you have planned. Layer your cloths for daily comfort and nightly chill.
Forecast
Friday (Oct 23) high temperatures maxed in the 55-60 range. Another great fall day IMO. Light N/NE winds should continue overnight as temps fall to the 28-44 range NNJ elevations to SNJ coasts. Freeze/frost potential away from the ocean, especially for elevations.
Saturday (Oct 24) high temperatures should reach the low-to-mid 60s. Skies should be mixed with more sun than clouds. Winds should be light out of the NW for most of NJ, maybe a little bit E/NE for coasties. Overnight lows should range from 26-42 NNJ to SNJ with more freeze/frost potential away from the ocean/for elevations.
Sunday (Oct 25) high temperatures should reach the mid-60s. Skies should be mostly sunny. Winds should be light out of the W/NW. Overnight lows should fall to the 30-42 range NNJ to SNJ.
An early look at next week (Oct 26-30) indicates more of the same… lots of clear/sunny skies, highs ranging 58-68, lows down to 30s/40s. More immaculate fall conditions. Have a great weekend and please be safe! JC
